Case Study: Aktrion

Aktrion provide quality inspection services across the UK automotive sector. We built a mobile inspection platform that replaced paper-based processes and gave management real-time visibility of field team activity.

The Challenge

Aktrion manage quality inspection operations for some of the world’s biggest automotive manufacturers, with inspectors working across client sites in the UK, Spain, Brazil, and India. Keeping track of inspector activity, parts checked, and quality metrics across all of those sites, and making that data available to both Aktrion’s management and their clients in real time,was beyond what their existing tools could handle. They also needed whatever was built to work in multiple languages, and to integrate with their existing Tesseract back-office platform rather than replace it.

The Solution

Logicc built Arrow, a web-based application for inspector activity logging and real-time reporting. A multilingual hybrid Android app allows inspectors to log activity and check parts on the shop floor in real time. Dashboards and control panels give both Aktrion and their clients live visibility into job status, burndowns, and PPM data. An ASP.net API bridge connects Arrow directly to Aktrion’s existing Tesseract system, keeping data in sync without requiring a wholesale platform replacement.

The Results

Arrow is in active use across Aktrion sites in the UK, Spain, Brazil, and India, with a mass roll-out underway. Client users on the platform include teams at BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, and Ford.
